Hemdale

Hemdale was a grindcore/goregrind band formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1993. During their brief history, Hemdale managed to make a name for themselves and became very influential amongst their grind counterparts. Drummer Craig Rowe was the mastermind behind Visceral Productions, and he helped put bands such as Exhumed, Exit-13, Dying Fetus and Nile on the map in the early 1990's. After Visceral Productions stopped releasing music, Hemdale was picked up by legendary metal label Relapse Records, though their stint at Relapse was short lived, due in part to Hemdale's split in the late 1990's. Hemdale was also well known in the grind for their intense and outlandish live performances.
Their appearance at Maryland Deathfest in 2014 marks their first live appearance in nearly 15 years....prepare to grind!
