Gorguts

Gorguts is a technical death metal band from Quebec.  They are considered to be one of the premier acts of the genre with a very progressive, avante-garde style.  Formed in 1989, their line-up today consists of only one original member, vocalist/guitarist Luc Lemay.  After going on hiatus from 2005-2008, Lemay announced that the group would reunite with a new lineup.  The next few years were spent playing shows (including an appearance at MDF in 2010) and writing material for a new album.   The highly anticipated release of Colored Sands in September 2013 will be their first new album in 12 years.  Gorguts current lineup features members of Dysrhythmia, Origin and Dim Mak.
