Powerviolence

Grin and Bear It is a hardcore/powerviolence band from Cleveland, Ohio.

Left for Dead is a Toronto, Canada based hardcore band.  The group formed in 2004 and released several splits before parting ways.  As of 2013, Left for Dead have reuinted with most of their original members, and they are currently signed to Baltimore based A389 Records.  Left for Dead will be making their first Maryland Deathfest appearance in 2014.

Endorphins Lost are a crust/grind/powerviolence/d-beat band from Seattle, Washington.  The group features members of other great Seattle bands such as Catheter and Capitalist Casualties.  The group released their most recent LP in the summer of 2013, following that up with a rigorous touring schedule, including a visit to Indonesia and Southeast Asia.  Endorphins Lost will be making their first appearance at Maryland Deathfest in 2014.

Stapled Shut are a powerviolence band from Los Angeles, California.  Originally formed in 1991, Stapled Shut were an integral part of the prominent powerviolence scene in Los Angeles in the early 1990's, and they have continued to perform and record for over twenty years.  Stapled Shut will be making their first Maryland Deathfest appearance in 2014.

Sick/Tired is a hardcore punk/powerviolence band from Chicago, Illinois, featuring members of Mk-Ultra and Weekend Nachos.  Formed in 2009,  Sick/Tired released a their most recent LP in 2013, and will be making their first Maryland Deathfest appearance in 2014.

The Endless Blockade were a Toronto, Canada based powerviolence band active from 2003 until 2010.  Their sound was an eclectic mixture of hardcore punk and sludge, and even some noise elements.

Despise You is a powerviolence/hardcore band from Inglewood, California.  The band formed in 1995, and have been one of the more influential groups in the west coast powerviolence scene.

XBRAINIAX are a powerviolence band from Clinton, Michigan.  The band formed in 20041, and draws influence from powerviolence greats like Infest and Lack of Interest.

Capitalist Casualties are a hardcore/powerviolence band formed in 1987 in Santa Rosa, California.  They are considered to be one of the original powerviolence bands to come out of southern California during the late 1980's.  The group has been active for over 25 years, and as a prolific amount of recorded material, most of which are split albums with other artists.  Capitalist Casualites will be making their second Maryland Deathfest appearance in 2014.
