Maryland Deathfest is a four day festival, running from May 22nd to May 25th. Over 80 bands are playing at 3 different venues in Baltimore City.

My Dying Bride
My Dying Bride are an English doom metal band formed in Bradford, England in 1990. Along with Anathema and Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride is a forerunner of the death/doom metal genre and considered part of the "Peaceville Three" as all three bands were signed to Peaceville Records at the time. My Dying Bride has had significant commercial success, and have been quite prolific in their more than twenty year career, releasing eleven studio albums, alongside multiple compilations, live albums, video's and EP's. Their doom-laden sound often features keyboards and violin mixed with darker influences from gothic and death metal. My Dying Bride will be making an exclusive US appearance at Maryland Deathfest in 2014. It will be their first appearance in the US since 1997.
