Soilent Green

Soilent Green formed in 1988 in Metarie, Louisiana (a suburb of New Orleans); the band is named after the 70's sci-fi movie Soilent Green.  After releasing several demos and splits in the early 90's, the band blasted onto the scene after signing with Relapse records and releasing several highly acclaimed records, even being mentioned in Rolling Stone magazine for their 1998 release, Sewn Mouth Secrets.

Foetopsy

Foetopsy is a brutal death metal/grindcore band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  

Nunwhore Commando 666

Nunwhore Commando 666 (often abbreviated NWC666) was founded in 1995 by musicians of Gut, Libido Airbag, and Nyctophobic, however the band did not record any material until reconvening in 2001.  They have been influenced by bands like Gore Beyond Necropsy, Catasexual Urge Motivation, Gut, Blasphemy, Mortician.  Their  musical style is self-described as “Electronic Pumpgun Grind”, and the group plays and records without a drummer, preferring to use drum machines.

Jigsore Terror

Jigsore Terror is a three-piece death/grind band from Sweden formed in 2001 by members of such Swedish grindcore acts as Birdflesh, General Surgery, Entrails and Sayyadina.  Jigsore Terror formed as a side project to play  old-school death/grind metal in the veins of the early, brutal bands like Repulsion, Death, and Terrorizer.

Gorerotted

Gorerotted was a British death metal band formed in 1997 which split up in January 2008 and reformed with new members as The Rotted. Gorerotted's lyrics and song titles were largely inspired by horror films and serial killers. Musically, Gorerotted employed a distinctive dual vocal style, mixing deep-death growl vocals with high pitched yelling and screaming.

Retaliation

Retaliation is a grindcore band from Sweden.  Formed in 1993, the groups members have played in notable Swedish bands such as Nasum, Regurgitate, Thy Primordial, Sayyadina, Victims and Dawn.

GUT

Gut is a German grindcore band, often credited as fathers of pornogrind, and known for their over-the-top vocals and morbid, pornographic imagery.  Pornogrind is defined solely on the basis of its lyrical content and unique imagery, its focus on pornographic content.  Their music, especially with their 2006 release, combines elements of goregrind and pornogrind with hip hop, hardcore punk, and electronic music.

Extreme Noise Terror

Extreme Noise Terror (often abbreviated to ENT) are a British crust punk / grindcore band originally formed in Ipswich, England in 1985. The band are widely considered one of the earliest and most influential European grindcore bands, and particularly the forefathers of the crustgrind subgenre.  Notable for one of the earliest uses of dual vocalists in hardcore punk, Extreme Noise Terror started as a crust punk band and helped characterize the early, archetypal grindcore sound with fiercely political lyrics, grinding guitars, extremely fast tempo and often very short songs.

Unholy Grave

Unholy Grave is a grindcore band from Nagoya, Japan.   Their name comes from the song "Beyond the Unholy Grave" by death metal legends, Death.  Since their formation in 1993, Unholy Grave has been extraordinarly prolific, releasing nearly one hundred LPs, EPs, CDs and 7 inches over their twenty year career, including an impressive number of split releases with artists such as Capitalist Casualties, Dropdead, and Nunslaughter.   Frequently using the motto "Grindcore Against Terrorism" in their artwork, their lyrics deal largely with political and social issues.

Decrypt

Decrypt is a technical death metal/grind band from Crown, Indiana.
